The best vegan restaurants in Sydney

We’ve rounded up some of our fave plant-based and vegan restaurants. Even if you’re not vegan, we promise you’ll love them!

Yellow

57 Maclay Street, Potts Point, NSW, 2011

Created by the award-winning team behind Bentley Restaurant, you can find this slice of heaven in Potts Point. It’s got an inner-city luxe, but rustic feel and was Sydney’s first fine dining vegetarian and vegan restaurant. On the menu, you have an array of a la carte delish, from five- and seven-course tasting menus and there’s a wine list that perfectly complements the yum menu. We’re not going to say no to that, are we?

Yullis

417 Crown St Surry Hills 2010

Since opening in 2008, Sydney siders and beyond have flocked to Yullis for their eclectic menu of Asian fusion dishes, with some Mexican and Moroccan options thrown in. It serves creative vegetarian, vegan and gluten-free dishes, plus craft beers, served in a Melbourne-vibes quirky dining room. It’s laid back, very tasty and good for any occasion.

Eden

106/180 Campbell Parade, Bondi Beach, 2026 NSW

Sprawled over a Bondi courtyard, surrounded by plants, you’ll feel like you’re on holiday, or even Beverly Hills (it’s the pink and palm trees). This ain’t about any tricky apples though, the menu consists of popcorn cauliflower, pizza, jalapeno sliders, squid and truffle fries. All plant-based. YASSS. There’s also a great non-alcoholic cocktail list that’s to die for.

Soul Burger

Multiple locations around Sydney (YEY)

Ready for a plethora of vegan-only burgers? YEAH YOU ARE. Touted as “Australia’s first gourmet plant-based burger joint”, Soul Burger want to change how you see a burger, and oh boy will this ever do that. From falafal burgers, to a range of tasty Beyond Meat burgers and some tasty Portuguese fried ‘chicken’, you’re going be heart-eyed for what’s on offer.
